Assessment and Certification
How the Blended Learning Works
Study online at your own pace, then take a quick, formal assessment to get certified:
Step 1: Flexible Online Learning. Once enrolled, you will receive a personal login to access your interactive e-learning modules. The material takes roughly six hours to complete, and you can pause and resume whenever you like.
Step 2: The Assessment. Once you finish your modules, you must take your 45-minute, multiple-choice exam. This exam is invigilated by St John Ambulance at our Douglas training centre and must be completed before your 28-day window expires.
Step 3: Stay Certified. Your official, regulated certificate is issued upon passing and remains valid for three years.

Important Timeline Rule:
Your 28-day countdown begins the moment you are enrolled. You must finish all online learning and sit your invigilated exam at our Douglas center within this 28-day period. We recommend finishing the online modules within the first two weeks so you have plenty of time to book your exam session with us.
