Finance Director Required

The Directors of St John Ambulance Isle of Man are looking to recruit a new Director of Finance to join the Board of the Island’s leading provider of First Aid and related health care training. In addition, we provide first aid cover for the majority of public events. St John also supports the Isle of Man Ambulance Service through it’s Community First Response team.

Your main responsibilities will be to direct financial operations, develop effective financial strategies, guide efforts towards financial stability, monitor all financial activities, promote revenue growth, ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, tax and VAT compliance and applicable legislation. This is a voluntary role.

The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA) with 5 to 10 years post qualification
experience.
